Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

I’ve had this foundation for a good 3 months now and used it here and there as I purchased a shade too light and was too lazy to take it back πŸ˜‚ I mix it with my NARS Weightless foundation to get it just the right shade.

It stays allllll day. This stuff does not budge. I would reccomend using a hydrating cream before using this as it can be a little drying as it is oil free. But my moisturiser and primer does the trick.  It’s the highest coverage you’ll find at Laura Mercier and it does give a beautiful matte finish on the skin. I like the fact that it’s matte but doesn’t go dry around my nose and doesn’t make me look flat or mask faced.

This is the foundation in the colour Beige Ivory:

As you can see it’s a little too light for my under tone colour but the fact I still love it says a lot.

I love the fact it’s fragrance free and is so easy to use as you can just squeeze it out. That means you won’t waste a drop! It’s also natural looking considering it’s  coverage and doesn’t make me feel cakey.

For Β£35 it’s good, not my fave but good and does what it says on the tin.
